SVG Motor Sport are thrilled to have Egyptian racing driver Mohamed Elshimy back with us for a full-season in the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge.
The 20-year-old Automotive Engineering student made a one-off appearance last year at Spa Francorchamps. He returns this season with the aim of consistently being on the podium.
Mohamed said, “I’m really looking forward to another year with SVG Motor Sport, taking on a championship as competitive as the GT5 Challenge!”
The Ginetta GT5 Challenge is part of the prestigious British GT and Touring Car weekends. It is suitable for all ages and levels of race experience and is widely known for being the breeding ground for future professional drivers. The championship runs at seven meetings, five of which are part of the British GT package and the other two as part of the British Touring Car Championship events.
