SVG Motor Sport are pleased to announce Pillip McGarty has joined them for the 2016 season. Phil will be racing in the British GT support series Ginetta GRDC+ Championship having graduated from the GRDC class in 2015.
Andy Johnson, owner of SVG Motor Sport, said “We are delighted to have Phil join our team this year. We learnt a lot in our first year in Ginettas last season and achieved some excellent results, including several podium finishes. We will build on what we learnt and plan to get Phil back on the podium too.”
Phil managed a podium finish last season at Rockingham in his road-legal Ginetta G40 Club Car. Phil said “I’m really looking forward to greater success this season and can’t wait to tap into the experience of Andy and the team at SVG Motor Sport.
SVG Motor Sport are planning to run three Ginettas this season. It also runs cars for customers racing with the Classic Touring Car Racing Club as well as selected other events.
