Craig Rainer
Andy is supported at SVG by head mechanic and engineer Craig Rainer. Craig has been campaigning and developing a MKII Cosworth Powered Escort for more than 20 years.
He has enjoyed great success in the Ford Saloon Championship, taking class honours and winning the championship crown outright in 2002.
Toyota Corona
Andy is well known for campaigning in Toyota Coronas. The first Toyota Corona was bought to go rallying with, but having kids at that time it was suggested he try circuit racing. After attending a classic touring car race meeting it was decided to build the Corona for racing and he still uses the car today for circuit racing. The Corona has had a couple of outings at the Goodwood Revival meeting, has raced at Silverstone in an F1 Grand Prix support race and the Brighton Speed Trials. A second Corona was built for the 20th anniversary of the Classic Marathon.
