Trophy Championship
The Britcar Trophy Championship has a one-day format, featuring headline billing, two 50-minute races and visits all the top UK circuits.
The Trophy category has flourished since it’s inception, with the multi-class
structure. As well as a springboard to senior-level endurance racing it also caters for the seasoned amateur wanting longer races in a professionally-run environment.
Events include a qualifying session and two 50-minute races, all on the same day. The exception in 2024 is the Brands Hatch meeting, which supports the International GT contingent for a two-day meeting on the GP circuit.
The championship consists of seven events, 14 races, with the best 13 counting for the final Championship standings.

Team Principal Andy Johnson has competed in a wide range of formula for over 30 years. From banger racing to circuit racing in classic touring cars, he has competed at the Goodwood Revival and the first ever Pirelli Classic Marathon.
Andy is supported at SVG by head mechanic and engineer Craig Rainer. Craig has been campaigning and developing a MKII Cosworth Powered Escort for more than 20 years.
